Song order:
- “The Opener” - a tease overview of the entire production… an alternate form of an overture.
- “What Could Go Wrong? (Salad Days)” - a relatively upbeat song that tells of Brantaire’s meteoric rise to fame and hints at his own immaturity that disappears over the course of his cancer journey.
- “The End” - a health scare at an awards show marks the start of Brantaire’s new life with cancer.
- “A Quick One While I’m Away” - conceptually based upon The Who’s “A Quick One While I’m Away” but musically way different, the song is seven different short songs in different genres that highlight the shock following a brain cancer diagnosis (ie financial toxicity, friends moving on without him, the isolation of a long hospital stay, etc)
- ACT TWO: Beats and Trout Nutrition fake nutritional product commercial
- “The Cancer Commandments” - Brantaire is visited by the spirits of cancer past who explain “how to cancer” properly.
- “New Normal” - a song about struggling to keep going as you slowly decline.

- “Showdown (a reprise)” - an old friend and bandmate makes a surprise visit as Brantaire is raging.
- “Mockingbird” - a song about how many cancer patients use dark humor as a coping mechanism.
- “Memories Are A Dangerous Game” - a song about the struggle with looking back at your old life for happy feelings but it being a reminder of who you no longer are.
